Ella is an aspiring professional distance runner with a strong academic foundation in health and human performance. Raised in Northern California, she developed an early connection to the outdoors through hiking and backpacking with her family. With a lifelong commitment to physical activity and a competitive nature, she pursued swimming at a high level before shifting her focus to yoga. Her interest in anatomy and movement mechanics led her to spend four years studying yoga instruction, deepening her understanding of body awareness, technique, and injury prevention.

In the years leading up to college, Ella began running on local trails and roads, quickly discovering a passion for distance running. Over time, her focus shifted increasingly toward road racing, where she now aims to compete at the professional level across a range of distances.
Ella is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences – Healthy Lifestyles and Fitness Science at Arizona State University. She is also preparing for nationally recognized certifications, including ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP), National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBHWC), Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN), and run coach. These credentials are part of her broader vision to integrate high-performance training, nutrition, and health coaching into a sustainable and impactful career.
With a clear focus on professional road racing and a strong academic background to support her athletic development, Ella is committed to building a career that blends elite competition with evidence-based practices in endurance performance and wellness.
